Dr. Oleg N. Kirillov

Lomonosov Moscow State University, which awarded to me the PhD degree in Theoretical Mechanics in 2000, is now 25th in the Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings 2015! Cornell and NYU shared 2oth while Tsinghua is 26th.

My mother, Alevtina Aleksandrovna Olicheva (1934-1977), was born in Lobnevo village of the Tver region of Russia on February 25, 1934. She was a school teacher of Russian language and literature. She died in an accident when I was 5 years old.
